On the 4^th March we're delighted to be joined by Gerd Stepp of Stepp wines to taste through his delicious and varied range from the Palatinate region of Western Germany. Having grown up in a family of farmers and grape-growers, Gerd travelled the world for many years making wine everywhere from Argentina to Zimbabwe.

He's now settled back in his home town of Bad Durkheim and is committed to making high quality wines with respect for the natural environment. He makes use of family-owned plots in some of the area's most prestigious vineyards to produce Riesling and Pinot of the highest quality. But it doesn't end there, Gerd's portfolio shows just how versatile the sand and limestone soils of the Pfalz region can be. Some of you will be familiar with Stepp's pinot as it has long been a favourite on the 'By the Glass' list in all 3 of our venues.
